Introducing the All New and 'more grown up' 2017 Elantra. Hyundai succeeded in updating the Elantra to appeal to both the growing number of tech-savvy professionals, the small-family crowd and the refined driving enthusiasts whom seek adventure just as much as they seek safety and reliability.

From Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian detection to a Hands-Free Smart Trunk (a segment first!) to Apple CarPlay to Heated Rear Seats; these are just some of the many updates that set the 2017 Elantra apart.

Technology and Specs Overview

Already one of America's top selling sedans, the Elantra just gets better with age.

The Elantra's new crisp styling inside and out produces a cleaner, more polished feel that is perfect for the recent college grad entering the workforce and who needs an energy efficient car without losing modern tech features or breaking their budget. If this sounds like you then make sure to check out Hyundai of Keene's First-Time Buyer Program before you apply for financing!

Hyundai also made many improvements to the body and suspension of the Elantra, like a new 2.0L 147 hp lightweight engine that comes standard on the SE and Limited, added an extra inch both in length and width, added more insulation to reduce road noise, added more high-strength steel to the body, revised the rear suspension, resulting in a much quieter, smoother ride and increasing its resale value.

Hyundai also added more tech and safety features such as the Auto Emergency Braking* system mentioned earlier, Lane Keep Assist*, Blind Spot Monitoring*, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert with Lane Change Assist*.

*Available in select trims or trim packages. See dealer for details.

Engine Choices:

Two engines options to start (more to come later this year):

A 147 horsepower 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed Automatic transmission which will be featured on most, or…

A 128 horsepower 1.4 liter 4-cylinder turbo engine with a 7-speed dual clutch Shiftronic automatic transmission as the Eco Option.
These engines get between 29 to 33 mpg (combined city/highway) depending on which drivetrain, trim & packages you choose.

Trims and Manufacturer Suggested Retail Pricing (MSRP)

The 2017 Elantra is available in TWO affordable trims:  SE and Limited.

The SE trim has a suggested MSRP at $17,150. That's about the same if not less than last years' price! ($18,150 for a Base 2017 Elantra with Automatic transmission).  The SE comes standard with 15" steel wheels, cloth seats, 60/40 split rearseat, front wheel drive, traction control and more with the option to add on the SE Popular Equipment Package ($800) or the SE Tech Package ($1,300 - well worth the upgrade!!!).

The Limited trim has a suggested starting MSRP at $22,350. A Tech Package ($2,500) and an Ultimate Package ($ 1,900) are also available to add on more must-have goodies that make the Elantra look and feel more like a Sonata or even the Genesis in terms of luxury.
