For more than a decade, America's Best Warranty hasn't just changed how our customers feel about their cars, it's changed how we build vehicles. To make sure we deliver automobiles worthy of a 10-year warranty, Hyundai initiated the Drive Defects to Zero plan. This program has a dedicated team of Hyundai engineers that are charged with catching, learning about and fixing any issue, no matter how small, before it gets to the customer. America's Best Warranty does more than give you peace of mind, it's a commitment from Hyundai to maintain a high degree of quality, dependability and reliability.

10-YEAR/100,000-MILE POWERTRAIN PROTECTION
Covers repair or replacement of powertrain components (i.e., selected engine and transmission/transaxle components), originally manufactured or installed by Hyundai that are defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. Coverage applies to original owner only, effective with 2004 model year and newer model year vehicles. On 1999-2003 model years, coverage applies to original owner and immediate family members (i.e., wife, husband, daughter, son, stepdaughter, stepson).
Second and/or subsequent owners have powertrain components coverage under the 5-Year/60,000-Mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Excludes coverage for vehicles in commercial use (e.g. taxi, route delivery, delivery service, rental, etc.).

24/7 Roadside Assistance*
Hyundai strives to make ownership as worry-free as possible, which is why we have included 5 years of Roadside Assistance absolutely free, with every new Hyundai. Valid in all 50 states and Canada, if your Hyundai becomes disabled or even if you just lock yourself out, we'll send someone to help you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

60-MONTH/UNLIMITED MILE
Effective from the date the vehicle is delivered to the first retail buyer or otherwise put into service (in-service date), whichever is earlier.
THE HYUNDAI ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM PROVIDES SERVICE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
  • Keys Locked in Car
  • Flat Tire
  • Dead Battery
  • Out of Gas
  • Dealer Location
TOWING
Hyundai Roadside Assistance will tow your vehicle to the nearest Hyundai dealership or authorized service facility if your vehicle is inoperable, even for non-warranty-related tows, such as accidents.

TRIP INTERRUPTION ASSISTANCE
In the event a warrantable mechanical disablement occurs more than 150 miles away from home and your car is disabled overnight due to a repair in process, Hyundai Roadside Assistance will reimburse you for reasonable expenses such as meals, lodging and transportation.

When you call 1-800-243-7766 for Roadside Assistance, please provide the following:
  • Tour Name
  • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) - located on the drivers side dashboard
  • Vehicle Mileage
  • Vehicle Location
  • Description of Your Vehicle's Problem
EXCLUSIONS
Off-roading is not covered. To receive service the vehicle must be on a publicly maintained road.

Roadside Assistance is not a warranty. For a description of the warranty covering your Hyundai, see the Hyundai New Vehicle Limited Warranty section of the Owner's Handbook. Roadside Assistance is a limited service, provided to help minimize any unforeseen vehicle operation inconveniences.

The Hyundai Roadside Assistance Program does not include reimbursement for any costs/charges for repairs, parts, labor, property loss, or any other expenses incurred as a result of accident/collision, vehicle abuse, racing, vandalism, or other items not covered by the Hyundai New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Also excluded are services for snow tires, repairs to studs, mounting or demounting of snow chains, any fines, fees, or taxes associated with impound towing as a result of any actual or alleged violation of any law or regulation.
Hyundai Motor America reserves the right to limit services or reimbursement to any owner or driver when, in Hyundai Motor America's judgment, the claims are excessive in nature, frequency, or type of occurrence.
